On Friday, May 1, 2020, we will celebrate the 8th Annual School Lunch Hero Day! School Lunch Hero Day is a chance to showcase the difference school nutrition professionals make for our children. Between organizing and preparing healthy meals, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, especially during these very trying times, our amazing HUUSD food service professionals provided over 45,000 meals to our children over the past two months. Truly remarkable! The HUUSD community would like to honor our school nutrition professionals as true heroes and thank them for what they continue to do for our kids.
