Graduation Information for Student and Families

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Friday, June 9th , 1:30-3:20 - Mandatory Marching Practice

    • All Seniors MUST be present for this. If you do not attend marching practice, you do not walk at Graduation. You will finish no later than 3:20pm and can catch the bus home if need be. - Please plan accordingly.

    • All outstanding bills (i.e. missing books, costs associated with technology - missing/broken devices, and cap & gown or cap, tassel and stole) and HUHS property (books, chrome books, uniforms, etc.) must be paid/returned prior to marching practice. A check off list will be provided to each senior the week prior to graduation.


  • Saturday, June 10th @ 10am - Harwood Graduation

    • Students should arrive to the school no later than 9:00am

    • Guests may begin arriving at 8:00am. Please DO NOT send one member of the family early to save seats. The seat placements will be removed. Please consider this a courtesy to all graduating families. The staging platform is raised and can be viewed from all seats. You may also come closer to the stage when your graduate is called across to receive a diploma.

    • The graduation ceremony runs 1 to 1-1/2 hours and should end no later than 11:30am.
