The College Planning Process

For students and caregivers who were not able to attend the Zoom College Process Presentation, we’ve compiled resources, including a video of the presentation, to help inform your college application process.

Applying to College Overview: This document will provide the framework and essential steps for you to take in the college application process.

Class of 2021 Remote College Planning Guide: This toolkit is full of resources, links, articles, and information to help you navigate this process. If you have questions, start by looking through the toolkit, and you may find the answers to your questions! The toolkit includes:

  • Resources on how to build your college list

  • Links and dates to virtual college fairs

  • Financial Aid resources from VSAC

Transcript Release Form: Transcripts are a confidential part of your educational record. In order for the School Counseling Department to send your transcripts to the colleges you’re applying to, we need this form to be completed, signed, and returned to Susan in the school counseling office.
