Summer Design Academy at Norwich

July 11th - July 17th


Norwich University's Summer Design Academy 2021 will be a 1-week immersive online course, teaching students the essentials of design thinking and architectural composition.


Over the week, students will design a small building utilizing 3D computer modeling programs to communicate how it would be experienced and how it could be built. Digital design will be paired with hand sketching and a Norwich 'Sketchbox' will be mailed to each student. Each day students will explore their project through the application of a different modeling technique and architectural concept.


The A+A Summer Design Academy is open to students who will be high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in the Fall of 2021. The cost per student for this week-long program is $350, which includes materials sent to your home.
