PSAT Sign Ups are Open!

Harwood Union High School will offer members of the junior class the opportunity to participate in the PSAT test on Saturday, October 15, 2022. The PSAT is a standardized test that provides the opportunity to practice for taking the SAT. There will be sections on reading, writing and language as well as math. Students will be provided a breakdown of how they scored on each section and suggestions for how to improve their score if they decide to take the SAT in the future. The PSAT is a test that can qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

The cost of the test is $24.00. Students should bring a check to the School Counseling office made out to Harwood Union High School by the end of the day on Monday, September 12th. If you need assistance with paying for the PSAT there will be fee waivers available. Please indicate this when signing up on the Google Form (below)..

If you would like your student to sign up to take the test please complete the Google Form here. Sign ups end 9-12-22 and payment is due 9-12-22.

If you have any questions or concerns about the PSAT please feel free to reach out to me and I’d be happy to help.

Take Care,

Maggie Weintraub
