Are You Passionate About Climate Change?

This February 4th-6th, GIV is hosting a new intensive online winter program, bringing young Vermonters together to save the planet. At GIV’s Climate Change Sprint, Vermont 9th-12th graders will form a community and take part in a burst of hands-on problem-solving. Students will connect, collaborate, and learn as they band together to take on interactive challenges with climate change experts and activists from around the country - all over the course of one weekend. During the event you will:

  • Connect with climate change experts

  • Collaborate with other Vermont high school students

  • Develop a strong foundation of climate science knowledge

  • Take on interactive prompts and challenges

  • Learn about climate change resources in Vermont

  • Discover how they can make a difference in their communities

  • Get a taste of GIV’s in depth summer programs

  • Have fun with a community of folks as passionate as they are!

Applications are open, tuition is “pay what you can.” Go to giv.org/winter to apply today!
