Bus Routes 2006-2007 (90 minute delay)

The following bus schedule will be used and adjusted when necessary. Please board the bus that covers the route or meet the bus at the designated pick-up points closest to your home. If you have any questions, please contact:

The time of departure from the bus stops may vary by five minutes. Students should be at the bus stop, ready to board the bus at least five minutes prior to the expected arrival of the bus. This will avoid unnecessary delays for the students further along on the route. Drivers and parents are requested to set their clocks and/or watches with the WDEV radio time (5.50AM or 96.1FM).

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION

Preschool and kindergarten students will only be released into the care of a parent or other authorized adult at a designated drop-off point. If the authorized adult is not present to receive the child, the child will be returned to the school, and the parent contacted to arrange transportation for the child.

REGULATIONS REGARDING PERSONAL PROPERTY ON SCHOOL BUSES:

A student may only bring items that can be carried in a bag and held on the student’s lap on the school bus. Safety and space considerations make this regulation necessary. Personal items that interfere with the personal space of other riders will not be allowed on the school buses. Items that cannot be brought to school on the bus include; skis, ski poles, snowboards, snowshoes, skateboards, ice skates ice hockey bags, golf bags, and large musical instruments. Parents will need to arrange alternative transportation for these items.

8:30 Start Route on Blush Hill Road at the Cove turnaround, pick up at intersections of Lonesome Trail Road, Kennedy Drive and Blush Hill.

8:49 Intersection of RT. 100 & Rt. 2, head Weston Rt2.

Pick up all students on the North side of theroad. Proceed to Jenny Davis Lane turn-around and return to Waterbury Village. Picking up students on the Southside of Rt. 2.

9:05 Pick up at Crossroads Beverage

9:08 Pick up at Rusty Park.

9:10 Arrive CBMS for transfers

9:15 Leave CBMS to Harwood Union.

8:35 Turn right onto Guild Hill Road for pick ups, Maggie’s Way turn right onto Route 100 North pickups along Route 100.

8:42 Pick up at Spruce Haven and Route 100 intersection

8:48 Enter North entrance to Gregg Hill Rd. picking up students along the length of the road back to Route 100

8:58 Stops along Route 100 South at Evergreen Gardens, Sunset Drive, Lakeview Terrace, McNeil Road, East Wind Drive

9:20 Arrive HUHS

NOTE: if normally you took bus 2 or 23 in the morning take this bus

8:47 Leave Sweet Road turn around ( Dundalk Road) turn left onto Ripley Road with pick ups to Kneeland Flats Road.

9:00 Turn left onto Perry Hill Road with pickups to Lincoln Street.

9:08 Arrive at TBPS for transfers

9:12 Leave TBPS to Harwood Union

NOTE: if normally you took bus 3 or 7 in the morning take this bus

8:45 Leave Waterbury Center Park (TJ’s) with pick-ups on Guptil Road to Kneeland Flats Road turn up proceed to Shaw Mansion turnaround

8: 53 Leave Shaw Mansion turn-around with stops along Kneeland Flats to the Trailer Park.

8:55 Kneeland Flats Trailer Park around perimeter of park

Continue down Kneeland Flats Road with stops to Guptil Road

Pick up on Guptil Road to Route 100 South.

9:05 Pickup along Main Street Waterbury proceed to HUHS

8:30 Leave Scrabble Hill turn around, picking up students as necessary to River Road.

8:47 Arrive Intersection of Main Street Duxbury and Route 100 turn right onto Route 100 South

9:02 Arrive Devlin turn-around with stops on Crossett Hill

9:17 Arrive Intersection of Crossett Hill Road and Route 100 turn right onto Route 100 South to HUHS

9:25 Arrive at HUHS

8:30 Leave intersection of Airport Road and route 100. Proceed North on Route 100 to North Fayston Road, turn left onto N. Fayston Rd. with pickups to Fayston garage, turn left toward Center Fayston Rd. with P/U’s to Kew Vasseur Rd. turn right on Kew Vasseur to Bragg Hill, turn right on Bragg Hill to #9 bus shelter and return back up Bragg Hill to Moulton Rd. with P/U’S along the way.

8:58 Rt. 100 and Bragg Hill Rd. intersection, then take RT. 17 West to the Battleground turn around. Proceed back down Route 17 to Germans Flats Rd. to Manlin Rd. turnaround.

9:08 Arrive at Fayston School

9:10 Depart Fayston School to HUHS

9:15 Fiddlers Green then pickups through Waitsfield, ICS, Library, VG
