| "The Technology Education program offers students the opportunity to learn and work in one of the nicest high school facilities in the state. Classes are offered in woodworking, metalworking, drafting, transportation and aerospace technology. Courses are designed for students desiring to learn a skilled trade or planning a college career. Proper student usage along with maintained tools and equipment provide a safe and efficient environment for students to work in." |

Steve Skilton
Department Head
A graduate of Keene State College, has been teaching at Harwood since the fall of 1979. Currently the alpine ski coach and a NCAA soccer referee. Started the Harwood tennis program in the early 80's, retired in 2006, with 24 years of leading the program.
Goal in teaching, to introduce students to the various fields in technology and the trades. Give them a basic foundation to further their skills or go directly into the work force. Harwood has a great facility for students to learn and grow in.
Personal interests, too many. Skiing, golf, tennis, hunting, fishing, biking, camping, gardening. |

Ian Criag
Ian Craig has been teaching Design & Technology Education at Harwood since 2005. Prior to joining the staff at Harwood Ian worked in Construction Management with a company out of Western NY. He has attained an M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg VA, and a B.S. in Technology Management with a concentration in Facilities Planning from Oswego State University in Oswego NY. Outside of Harwood Ian enjoys his work as a Ski Instructor, Canoeing and Backpacking Guide in the Adirondacks and finding anything new and exciting to learn. |
